Home safety slogans are usually aimed towards homes with babies, children or pets, but can be put into place everywhere. A high number of accidents happen at home, and most could have been easily avoided with a little knowledge about safety. Home safety slogans are needed because a high number of people believe that they will be safe in their own home, and so may put themselves or others at risk by not paying attention to what they are doing as much as they do when at work, for example.

Home safety slogans represent a number of situations, but the most common are child safety, fires, electrical items, and driving.

Home safety is critical, especially for people with children or pets. Simple actions such as installing child-safe wall sockets and child-safe drawers are quick and cheap to do. And for both children and pets, thinking ahead and not leaving sharp objects, poisons, breakables, lit candles or hot cookware anywhere within reach can prevent a serious accident.
